Time to stretch legs and breathe some fresh mountain air!! There could not be a better place to do it than this beautiful spot right in the middle of Tien-Shan Mountain Range, between glaciers, endless springs and real gem: Ala-Kol Lake. Kyrgyzstan in fact offers outstanding unspoilt alpine nature, an untouched mountain paradise. There are still not many tourists on this route, however with its easy visa policy, great foods and hospitality, it may not last have deserted for long.

DAY 0
Meeting at 20:00 at T3 for a direct flight to Bishkek at 21:55.

DAY 1
Immigration formalities, breakfast and move to Tokmok village to visit a tower of Burana built in 12th century. Continue to Karakolby northern coast of Yssyk-Kul Lake. Enroute we will walk around an open-air gallery of rock engravings that covers 42 hectares and contains prehistoric monumental structures (stone circles, tombs, the remains of a boundary stone wall,) and petroglyphs, dating from 500 BC to 600 AD. As well as being interesting, this 'Stone Garden' is in a beautiful setting, with mountain and lake views. Arrival in Karakol, diner in local restaurant. Night in the guest house.

DAY 2
Early breakfast, and move to Karakol Gorge in old Russian military vehicle. Ascent to Kurgak-Tör, 3000 mtrs. Amazing views of the valley. Hiking to beautiful Mountain Lake, called Ala-Köl (3500 mtrs). Overnight in a tent near Ala-Köl Lake. Total trek time 6-8 hours.

DAY 3
Pass by two waterfalls. Hike through the Ala-Köl pass (3860 m.) to the Keldike Gorge and from the pass see the excellent panoramas of Takyr-Tor Glacier and five thousand mountain peaks of TerskeyAla-Too. Descent to the Altyn-Arashan resort, which is situated at 2 450 m. above sea level. Camp at this wonderful place which is surrounded by magnificent rocksand from where a lot of streams begin from the glaciers. Trek time: 8 hours, overnight in a tent.

DAY 4
Spend time in Altyn-Arashan gorge. We will take natural spring water thermal bath. You will never be able to forget the sight of the snow on Peak Palatka (Tent) 5260 m. or “Swallow’s Nest Pool”, nestling beneath the open sky. Walk from Altyn Arashan resort down by Arashan Gorge (4hours). Drive to Karakol (30 minutes). End of the trek. Short Karakol city tour, transfer to Bokonbaevo yourt camp. Overnight stay in yurts!!

DAY 5
Back to at Bishkek, buy a sheep, early next day fly back to Dubai.

Back home next morning at 08.30 AM, Terminal 3 (DAY 6).

Level of difficulty: moderate by definition, highest point at 3,860 meters. Available for fit beginners. Night temperatures on a trek will be close to 0°C.

Duration: 6 days

Cost: AED 7,540 including flights by flydubai, until JUNE 30th.

Accomm. & meals: 2 nights in tents, 1 night in guest house, 1 night in yurt, meals included except meals in restaurant.

Requirements: trekking boots, weatherproof warm clothes, hat, sleeping bag.

Mattresses, tents provided. Do take yours though, if your hygiene sensitive.

Specifically excluded: visa cost if applicable.
